If you use PGE Payment Processing in the United States, the IRS requires us to report when you collect $600 or more in transactions across all your events during a calendar year. The $600 number was much higher in prior years. We require that you fill out a Form W-9 in order to receive your funds distributions.
After events are created, you’ll be asked to complete our secure Tax Details form on a secure third-party platform (Taxbandits.com) to collect Tax Identification number with Form W-9. You’ll need to provide your Name, Address, Phone Number, and Taxpayer Identification Number (this can be a Social Security Number, Individual Taxpayer Identification Number or Employer Identification Number).
You're required to enter taxpayer information if any of the following apply:
You hosted events in the U.S. and have U.S. payouts
You hosted events in the U.S. and have international payouts
You hosted events internationally and have U.S. payouts
